About Rusell Jensen

When the carpentry program he wanted was full, Russell Jensen opted into a local cabinetmaking course in his hometown of Sudbury, Ontario. This turned out for the best. As Russell says, he would have been “the most precise framer in the world.” Russell started Jensen Fine Furniture in 1997, and originally focused on period-style reproductions. Since then, Russell has adopted a blend of Craftsman and Asian design. Craftsman style favours clean lines, sturdy structure, and is inspired by the American Shaker and Mission styles.
